Amazon Rainforest Fires

Disastrously, the Amazon Rainforest is burning at a VERYΒ fast rate, currently at more than 72 thousand fires at once!!

According to scientists, fires are not unusual in the dry country. (Brazil) But this amount is much more than the normal. Unfortunately, not all the fires are natural, some are being made on purpose to clear land.

The Amazon rainforest is also known as the lungs of the earth because 20% of the world's oxygen is made by the Amazon, so not only will it threaten a huge amount of animals and probably drag them down to extinction, but it will also stop the worlds biggest breathing system and possibly start making the opposite impact on earth.

But guess what, you can help.

1. Share the matter

Share this page with as many people as you can, the matter tends to become more important if more people know about it.

2.Β Donate to charities

If you donate to some powerful charities they use the money to do the following;

  • Identify the most affected areas and the communities most in need of their support
  • Support community services to reduce the fires and offer emergency relief where it’s needed
  • Raise awareness to take action against the fires and deforestation
  • Advocate for stronger laws in the Brazilian parliament

We recomend https://www.wwf.org.uk/ for donating.

3. Comment!!

If you can't do any of the following, then just simply drop in a comment!!

We would like to get as many comments as possible and perhaps we could make it help.

Hello would you mind stating which blog platform you're using?
I'm planning to start my own blog soon but I'm having
a hard time choosing between BlogEngine/Wordpress/B2evolution and
Drupal. The reason I ask is because your design seems different then most blogs and I'm looking for something
unique. P.S My apologies for being off-topic but I had to ask!
